About the Role
As a Lead Client Servicing Associate, you’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for resolving operational issues, designing workflows, and strengthening relationships with vendors and clients. This role reports directly to the Interface Operations Team Lead and is ideal for someone with strong financial operations experience and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve priority client queries, workflows, and third-party interface issues.
- Lead proactive break resolution and ensure prompt communication with external parties.
- Conduct daily and monthly activity reviews and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with clients, external vendors, and internal teams (Account Management, Product, Testing) to design workflows for trade, position, risk, and analytics data.
- Investigate reconciliation queries, resolving issues related to vendor and prime broker data.
- Act as a trusted liaison for stakeholders (Clients, Sales, Vendors, PBs, Onboarding) to deliver high-quality service.
- Communicate key product insights clearly and set expectations with clients and vendors.
- Support team building and help shape the operational strategy for interface enhancements.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA Level I/II, CAIA, or relevant middle office certifications) are a plus
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial services at a fund administrator, prime broker, custodian, or asset management firm.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and asset classes: Equities, Options, Futures, FX, Fixed Income, CDS, Total Return Swaps, etc.
- Hands-on experience with portfolio management, trading workflows, and reconciliation processes.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to manage both strategic initiatives and technical tasks
