About the Role

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Manager to lead the sales floor team, drive sales goals, and ensure excellent customer experiences. You’ll oversee daily retail operations, mentor your team, and play a key role in creating a positive store environment that reflects Goodwill’s values and mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily retail operations to meet sales targets and maintain store standards.
  • Manage inventory, cash handling, and daily paperwork reconciliation.
  • Coach and develop Retail Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Handle customer concerns, resolving issues effectively and escalating when needed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with bank deposits, store transfers, and training as required.
  • Foster a positive team culture aligned with Goodwill’s core values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
  • Participate in performance management, staffing, and employee development.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Willingness to transfer between stores based on business needs.
