Role Overview

We’re looking for passionate Forward Deployed Engineers to join our team and deliver hands-on technical support directly to our customers. This role requires a unique blend of problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work in diverse environments whether at customer headquarters or onsite in more challenging locations like aircraft hangars.

You will be a trusted technical partner, leading product deployments, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring successful operations. You might not have every skill listed, but a strong expertise in either hardware or software, a hunger to learn, and a drive to solve problems are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Guide customers through product deployment and daily operational use.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex and ambiguous challenges with engineered solutions.
• Customer Advocacy: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive issue resolution.
• Travel: Be ready for frequent travel (40-75%) to customer sites across the U.S.

Preferred Skills & Expertise

• Hardware & Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux OS, electrical engineering or electronics, networking protocols, serial communications, and device security. Hands-on data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Software & Development: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages. Familiarity with OS container technologies and software problem decomposition.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a field engineering, software development, or technical support role.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or critical infrastructure sectors is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
