Role Overview
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, reporting to the US-based Pre-Sales Manager, you will be a vital bridge between our sales, product, and engineering teams. You’ll deliver technical product demonstrations, understand customer needs, and drive engagement with prospects and partners.
Your consultative expertise will help tailor solutions to unique customer challenges, while your feedback will shape the future of Vitesse’s product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to thoroughly understand customer needs and business objectives.
- Deliver compelling product demos, technical presentations, and workshops throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to align demos and collateral with customer feedback.
- Customize presentations to highlight product benefits relevant to each prospect.
- Propose creative product adaptations to meet specific client needs while ensuring scalability.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to product teams to influence roadmap planning.
- Work with senior stakeholders to define business value propositions and competitive positioning.
- Develop technical responses and proposals alongside sales and product teams.
- Represent Vitesse at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- Business Administration or related field
- Advanced degrees or certifications in SaaS, FinTech, or sales engineering preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in a SaaS Pre-Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role.
- Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, ideally in treasury, claims management, business card, or high-value payments.
- Strong track record delivering value-driven presentations to senior decision makers, virtually and in-person.
- Skilled collaborator with sales, product, and engineering teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Experience creating polished sales collateral and product demos.
- Comfortable presenting at industry events and acting as a company ambassador.
