Are you passionate about cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, and building scalable infrastructure to power the future of AI and high-performance computing (HPC)? We’re seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on designing, building, and operating next-generation GPU infrastructure management systems across enterprise and cloud environments.

In this high-impact role, you'll take ownership of Kubernetes operator development, multi-cloud provisioning, and AI/HPC orchestration. You’ll collaborate with leading engineers across infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, and AI domains to create systems that scale from single-node testing to massive cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Go-based applications for Kubernetes-native infrastructure.
• Develop multi-cloud provisioning solutions supporting large-scale AI and HPC workloads.
• Lead efforts in GPU lifecycle orchestration, using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Terraform, and Crossplane.
• Provide technical support for internal teams and external users through bug fixes, documentation, and performance tuning.
• Build robust testing, monitoring, and observability frameworks to ensure high system reliability.
• Work closely with SRE and platform teams to improve infrastructure scalability and uptime.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and OpenAPI schemas.

Education & Experience

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent industry experience may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in systems software development or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, SRE principles, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with:
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Crossplane)
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with multi-cloud deployment, HPC schedulers, or GPU programming (CUDA) is a big plus.
• Experience contributing to open-source cloud-native projects is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Open-source contributions in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) ecosystem.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes Operators, CRDs, and API extensions.
• Experience managing GPU workloads for AI/ML, LLM training, or scientific computing.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and multi-cloud provisioning strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across distributed teams.
