Role Overview:

We’re hiring a Senior Paid Media Manager (YouTube) to take full ownership of Launch Potato’s performance-driven YouTube ad campaigns. This is a career-defining role where you’ll scale one of our most important growth channels YouTube while managing millions in ad spend, creative strategy, and performance targets.

You will oversee YouTube campaign strategy, P&L ownership, creative collaboration, and ongoing optimization. If you're a hands-on YouTube performance marketer with strong analytical skills and proven success scaling campaigns, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully manage YouTube ad campaigns: strategy, setup, pacing, reporting, and optimization
  • Own campaign P&L and hit aggressive ROAS and growth targets
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing YouTube video ads using YouTube ABCDs and data-backed insights
  • Provide detailed performance reports using tools like Looker, Google Analytics, and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Lead experimentation to improve CTR, CVR, ROAS, and margin
  • Scale YouTube spend to 2x run rate in year one while maintaining at least 110% ROAS
  • Expand into new verticals (insurance and financial services)
  • Build and mentor a video-first paid media team as growth continues
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to create new high-value audience segments
  • Share best practices across the broader Paid Media team

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on YouTube performance marketing experience
  • Proven success managing $20M+ in annual ad spend on YouTube
  • Strong background in creative strategy and working with video production teams
  • Experience with Looker, Google Ads, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, regression analysis)
  • Deep understanding of YouTube's best practices and optimization strategies
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus
