Role Overview

Are you a math expert with a passion for teaching, technology, or AI? Join us as a Freelance Mathematics Consultant – AI Trainer and help build the future of AI. In this role, you’ll contribute your knowledge to train and refine AI models so they can understand and solve complex mathematical problems with accuracy and clarity.

This fully remote, part-time opportunity is ideal for academics, educators, and experienced professionals who want to work flexibly while applying their expertise to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Refinement: Develop high-quality mathematical content, including examples, solutions, and task explanations across various math topics.
• Expert Evaluation: Assess and verify the qualifications of other experts joining the project.
• Chat Moderation: Support and guide fellow contributors via Discord, especially around task guidelines.
• Task Auditing: Review and audit tasks completed by other experts to ensure they meet quality and technical standards. Offer feedback and edits where needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Education:
• Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in academic or professional settings related to mathematics.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, or content review is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, or technical content review is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Python is required.

• Strong problem-solving and mathematical reasoning abilities
• Excellent written English (C1 level or above)
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines
• Ability to explain advanced math concepts in clear, accessible language
• Comfortable using digital tools and working remotely
