Freelance Human in the Loop Engineer

About the Role

Mindrift is looking for passionate freelance engineers to join the Tendem project an exciting initiative combining human expertise with AI automation (Vibe Coding) to revolutionize hybrid agents.

As a Human-in-the-Loop Engineer, you will collaborate closely with AI systems to refine, complete, and validate outputs—bringing judgment, creativity, and technical skill to automate complex tasks while ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Your day-to-day will involve working on scripting, automation, data processing, and AI prompt engineering, delivering well-structured results ready for real-world applications.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver precise, well-reasoned outputs backed by credible sources
• Solve complex challenges across various domains with automation support
• Write and optimize Python scripts for data analysis, automation, and validation
• Handle large datasets ensuring cleanliness and structure
• Use Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate and improve AI prompt quality
• Format outputs in Markdown, JSON, tables, or other required structures
• Troubleshoot complex AI workflow and integration issues

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related technical field (preferred)
• At least 1 year of professional experience in AI automation, data engineering, or software development (preferred)
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with AI/ML tools
• Comfortable working with large datasets and automation workflows
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Quick learner with ability to adapt to shifting priorities and complex guidelines
