Your Role as Senior Account Executive:

You will be a key player driving Cognigy’s growth in the US market, focusing on large enterprise clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll align our AI platform with transformative business goals, working collaboratively with partners and internal teams. While teamwork is crucial, you’ll need the initiative and skill of a hunter to independently advance and close complex deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, Business Development Reps, and internal teams to maximize pipeline.
  • Manage the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing.
  • Engage senior executives (Director to C-level) with consultative, value-based sales approaches.
  • Build business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps for customers.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on AI-powered customer engagement strategies.
  • Represent Cognigy at industry events and customer forums.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM opportunity data.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with proven success selling to Fortune 500 companies.
  • At least 3 years of experience selling in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Conversational AI (CAI), or AI/Automation domains.
  • Experience working with partner/channel sales models and influencing without direct authority.
  • Track record of closing $1M+ annual quotas, with deal sizes often in the 6- to 7-figure range.
  • Skilled in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving VP and C-level executives.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent business acumen and a consultative sales mindset.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
