Automotive Technician II (Manheim)

What You’ll Do

• Perform skilled maintenance and repair on medium-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, tires, suspension, drivability issues, electrical systems, and more.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics including charging, starting, air conditioning, OBDII systems.
• Perform mechanical inspections, measure vehicle components, and document any issues.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures for handling fluids, recyclables, and waste.
• May install equipment on new vehicles and complete OEM recalls.
• Order parts from approved vendors as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on vehicle service and repair experience.
• Safe driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate standard, automatic, and electric vehicles confidently.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ASE certifications (such as G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8) are a strong plus and may be required by leadership.

Physical Requirements

This job requires physical stamina: frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), crouching, reaching, and standing for long periods. You’ll work in various weather conditions year-round.
