The company values close collaboration, working side by side with clients from initial idea to production. As a Senior Data & BI Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of data and business intelligence solutions, all within a dynamic SCRUM environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and BI solutions
• Upgrade and enhance existing technical solutions
• Optimize ETL processes for efficiency and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable code aligned with engineering standards
• Collaborate within a SCRUM-based agile development team

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence
• 4+ years experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Proven ability to work closely with technical and business teams
• In-depth understanding of industry standards in ETL, data modeling, performance tuning, reporting, and visualization
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience managing large-scale datasets using MPP databases or data lake architectures
• Demonstrated expertise in large scale solution design and architecture
• Excellent English communication skills (C1+ level)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Serverless development (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge)
• Familiarity with big data tools like Spark, Dremio, and data mesh concepts
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing

Education & Professional Background

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related fields

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing large-scale data solutions
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams
