The Role: Videomaker (Content Marketing)

We’re looking for a creative Videomaker who owns the entire video production process — from ideation and filming to editing, analytics, and distribution. You’ll be instrumental in turning CloudTalk’s YouTube channel into a reliable source of demand generation by creating engaging, data-driven video content that attracts, retains, and converts viewers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with ideal customer profiles (ICPs), use cases, and buyer journeys
  • Handle all production stages: on-camera presentation or voiceover, editing, motion graphics, and publishing
  • Optimize videos for maximum retention and click-through rates (CTR) through compelling hooks, thumbnails, pacing, and end screens
  • Conduct topic research using keyword tools and trend analysis to align content with CloudTalk’s products and customer needs
  • Manage video distribution strategies including Shorts, community engagement, playlists, social snippets, and SEO
  • Experiment with new video formats and strategies, analyze results, and scale successful approaches
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, SEO, and Brand teams to align video content with campaigns and product launches

Tools You’ll Use:

  • Video editing: CapCut (preferred), Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  • AI content creation: HeyGen
  • Voiceover: ElevenLabs
  • Analytics: YouTube Studio, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console
  • Research: Google Trends, Ahrefs, vidIQ, TubeBuddy

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success in growing YouTube channels or series (please provide data or portfolio)
  • Hands-on experience with filming (camera operation, lighting, audio) and video editing
  • Deep understanding of YouTube best practices: retention, hooks, thumbnails, playlists, and Shorts
  • Strong data-driven mindset, comfortable with tracking performance using UTMs and analytics dashboards
  • Experience with content research and competitive analysis
  • Skilled at video distribution and audience engagement strategies

Education & Experience (Suggested):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in video production, content marketing, or digital media roles
  • Experience working in SaaS or tech companies is a plus
