Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the key technical contact ensuring excellent Azure cloud support for customers. You’ll troubleshoot complex, mission-critical issues, provide expert guidance, and collaborate across teams to improve platform stability and performance. This role requires strong cloud expertise and the ability to advocate for customer needs within Azure’s support framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support and engineering for Azure infrastructure and services.
• Resolve critical and complex technical problems related to cloud infrastructure.
• Support customer projects and escalate issues to improve Azure platform and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of cloud environments.
• Utilize scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Python, and C# to improve processes.
• Monitor and manage Azure core services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Logic Apps, and Functions.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred (3+ years of experience accepted in lieu of degree).
• Minimum of 4 years of IT experience supporting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications.
• At least 2 years of hands-on cloud experience, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven skills in server and infrastructure management.
• Experience with cloud computing, IaaS, and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and application deployment in cloud environments.

Certifications (Optional but beneficial)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, VMware) are a plus
