Role Overview
Hitachi is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – People Intelligence & Analytics to lead and transform our global HR analytics function within the Digital HR division. You will spearhead the design, implementation, and scaling of People Intelligence initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge Workday tools to provide actionable insights that empower leaders, HR teams, and employees. This is a full-time, remote role based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Workstream Leadership:
- Lead the global People Intelligence & Analytics team as part of Hitachi’s Digital HR organization
- Develop a roadmap moving from reporting to intelligence, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
Technology Enablement:
- Drive deployment and adoption of Workday Prism, People Analytics SKU, Illuminate, and related platforms
- Collaborate with Workday Innovation Services to prototype and scale advanced analytics use cases
Analytics & Insights:
- Deliver insightful dashboards and predictive models on workforce metrics such as headcount, attrition, diversity, mobility, skills, and costs
- Integrate HR, finance, and external labor data to generate forward-looking business insights
Data Governance & Quality:
- Establish and maintain global data governance standards and ownership models
- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and security of employee data
Business Partnership & Storytelling:
- Partner with CHRO, Centers of Excellence, and HR leaders to embed analytics in decision-making
- Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business stories
Team Building:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team across multiple countries, including India
- Develop internal capabilities for self-service analytics and insights
Required Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree preferred in HR, Analytics, Business, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience: 10-15 years in HR analytics, people intelligence, or related roles with leadership experience
- Proven expertise in Workday Prism and People Analytics SKU
- Strong background in data strategy, predictive analytics, and data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, Workday dashboards)
- Deep knowledge of HR processes including talent acquisition, learning, diversity, and workforce planning
- Experience leading global, matrixed programs and influencing senior leaders
- Strong business storytelling and communication skills
- Experience managing global teams and driving adoption of analytic tools
