You will work closely with clients and internal teams to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure each implementation is delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Master and apply Workday’s Implementation Methodology across engagements.
  • Develop strong expertise in the Workday product suite—HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.
  • Plan and staff projects effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Support Senior Engagement Managers on large-scale projects.
  • Collaborate with client project managers to proactively identify and resolve project issues.
  • Manage project budgets according to the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with project checkpoints.
  • Assist with smooth client transitions from professional services to product support.
  • Help clients become references by delivering exceptional implementation experiences.
  • Track project risks and issues; escalate concerns as needed.
  • Present updates and insights during Executive Steering Committee meetings.
  • Identify and escalate scope changes to protect project profitability.
  • Participate in sales efforts by gathering requirements and helping develop proposals and SOWs.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Experience with Workday implementations is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Internet technologies and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Background or understanding of HR, Finance, or Payroll processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Eligibility for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program (performance-based).
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
  • Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Long-term and short-term disability coverage.
  • Paid parental leave and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Why Work at Cognizant?
