About the Role

Atlassian is hiring a Global Lead for AI Natives & Scaleups – a pivotal role that shapes how emerging AI-driven companies and fast-growing scaleups succeed using Atlassian’s tools. This is more than a leadership role—it's about empowering innovation across startups building tomorrow’s AI technologies.

You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities, creating partnerships, and guiding AI-native organizations in adopting Atlassian’s solutions to scale efficiently. You will also play a strategic role in shaping Atlassian’s approach to this rapidly growing market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the global strategy for engaging AI-native startups and scaleups
• Identify, build, and manage relationships with key AI companies and ecosystems
• Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to align solutions with market needs
• Represent Atlassian in industry events and with high-profile tech communities
• Deliver insights to internal teams on how AI-first companies operate and grow
• Influence product direction by sharing customer feedback and market trends

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• MBA or Master’s degree is a plus, especially with a focus on Strategy, Innovation, or Technology

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales
• 5+ years working directly with AI-native companies, startups, or scaleups
• Proven experience leading global go-to-market strategies or ecosystem development
• Strong understanding of the AI startup landscape and SaaS business models
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in or with product-led organizations is highly desirable
