About the Role

Are you an experienced accountant or bookkeeper looking for a remote opportunity with room to grow? Remote Talent LATAM is seeking a motivated Accountant with strong QuickBooks Online skills to support small to mid-sized businesses. If you have at least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience and want to work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for small to mid-sized businesses
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports and statements as needed
• Use QuickBooks Online to track and organize financial data
• Assist with tax filings and compliance requirements
• Communicate with clients regarding financial questions and updates
• Support monthly and quarterly closing processes
• Collaborate with other team members to improve financial operations

Education & Experience

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally supporting small to mid-sized businesses
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) with hands-on experience
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance a plus
• Experience working in remote or virtual teams is advantageous
