This is a fully remote, contract-based position, perfect for talented tech enthusiasts who can write insightful, engaging, and well-researched feature articles.

Key Responsibilities

• Pitch and write original, in-depth feature articles on tech-related topics (e.g. trends, explainers, opinion pieces, AI, software, etc.)
• Format content within our in-house CMS, including sourcing and inserting images based on editorial guidelines.
• Stay current on the latest developments in tech, software, and consumer electronics.
• Collaborate with editors for assignments, revisions, and feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing tech features, explainers, or opinion pieces for online publications.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar, clarity, and storytelling ability.
• Ability to break down complex technology for a broad, general audience.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (like WordPress) is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory with relevant experience).

Experience

• At least 1–2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in tech journalism, blogging, or digital content creation.
• Published writing samples required (features, opinion pieces, or explainers in tech are ideal).
