What You’ll Do

• Write compelling and insightful articles about NBA teams, especially Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Clippers, with the opportunity to pitch other NBA/WNBA team topics.
• Create content that reflects your unique fan perspective and passion for the sport.
• Produce a minimum of 15 articles per month, with the freedom to write more and increase your earnings.
• Pitch your article ideas before writing to avoid overlap with other contributors.
• Engage readers with fresh takes and well-researched analysis.
• Manage your own writing schedule with full flexibility as an independent contractor.

Skills & Qualifications

• Able to write engaging, clear, and original sports content focused on NBA and WNBA teams.
• Able to pitch creative article ideas and develop them into well-structured posts.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and produce consistent content.
• Able to explore and express a unique voice as a passionate fan.
• Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and online content best practices is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Sports Management, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated writing experience or coursework related to sports writing or media is advantageous.

Experience

• Previous experience writing about sports, particularly basketball (NBA/WNBA), preferred.
• Experience as a freelance or independent writer a plus.
• Proven ability to produce regular content with minimal guidance.
• Experience with digital publishing platforms or blogging is beneficial.

Compensation

• This is an independent contractor role. Contributors are compensated monthly based on the total traffic their articles generate.
• Earnings vary depending on article performance, site traffic, and experience.
• The more you write, the greater your potential earnings.
