Brief history: On 22 April a terror attack took place in pehalgham ( India occupied Kashmir) where 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed. Indian government media and military without any proof blamed Pakistan for the attack.
Responding to that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered investigation of the matter but India neglected it and strike back in Bahawalpur , Rawalpindi, Lahore , Sialkot , Muzaffarabad and kotli and due to these attacks 40 innocent civilians died including a five year old kid. Pakistan’s Military responded in anger and according to them they shot down 6 india rafael jets and india bought those Rafale jets from France for an estimated amount of €7.87 billion .
India and France signed an agreement called IGA ( Inter governmental agreement) and through that agreement India got 26 jets from France.
- French Military Respond
After long time French military responded on that and said : “ If it’s true then it would be the first loss of rafale since 20 years of history” The spokesperson said they are in contact with India about the situation and they are closely monitoring everything related to rafale .
He said many details are still unverified and it needs some time to verify everything and to closely monitor the situation .
The spokesperson also added that we got the news that hundreds of military aircraft were involved in this engagement and we will take more lessons from this in the future.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed on national tv that Pakistan shot down 6 indian rafale and according to Pakistan reports Indian jets were shot by chinese missile ( which pakistan bought from china)
India response:
Indian media and army didn’t respond to Pakistan’s statement openly and according to them three jets got crashed but they didn’t mention the details . Many big News Channels like CNN agreed with Pakistan ‘s statement about Rafale and China also congratulated Pakistan on their victory. In a trilateral summit between Pakistan , Turkey and Azerbaijan all supported Pakistan stance on ind-pak conflict.
A French Military spokesperson responded to a question on phoenix TV ( hongkong based) said the military is in contact with the Indian military about this situation and we are verifying it. According to the Pakistan Military and their spokesperson the debris of two planes fell on an Indian border sight and India didn’t respond to this allegation .
Pakistan Prime Minister before operation cleared they are not striking on Indian civilians they will target Indian Army post and like the statement Pakistan targeted indian jets and post. According to Pakistan Information Ministry India raised white flags on LOC after Pakistan Military striked back.
But right now the French military is investigating the jets and according to them they are in contact with India about this situation.
