According to a recent study 90% of teens experienced some kind of cyber bullying and out of 90% (45%) have symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder
What is post traumatic stress disorder:
● Post traumatic is a mental disorder that develops from experiencing a traumatic event , Domestic violence, cheating, Childhood abuse and more.
Studies shows that 15% to 43% of girls and 14% to 43% of boys face traumatic disorder in their lifes. Nowadays social media is growing and teens have phone at a very young age in that age they don’t even know the proper use of social media and they might get bully , harass and they might fall in trap of comparison that lead to PTSD .
“There is no age limit for post traumatic stress disorder but it’s more common in people age from 16 to 35 years old”. In child this disease is called CTSD known as childhood traumatic stress disorder it can result from experiencing some trauma , cyber bullying and abuse .
Signs of PTSD among teens:
1 Nightmare : they might not able to sleep properly and they have suicidal thoughts. 2 Flashbacks : A very common symptom where the victim thinks the trauma is again happening. 3 Physical sensation: they might feel pain , sweating, feelings to cry and more. 4 Avoidance: They might start avoiding the place’s that remind them of that trauma , and they stop talking to people or about that situation. 5 Change in diet : They might not eat food properly and start crying without any reason.

80% of teens experiencing abuse develop later symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. 60% where those teen-agers who experienced a disaster and that event led them later on symptom of PTSD. 30-40% experienced cyber bullying, harrasment and they later develop post traumatic stress disorder.

Remember one thing your friends group is healthy and non-toxic so that you can heal. PTSD IN TEEN-AGERS: Teen-agers from 14 to 18 are more likely to get PTSD. Some studies even suggest that PTSD rates might be slightly higher in teenagers compared to adults.
